 My first thought was I'm glad it wasn't me out there, ... It was intense. They kept making putt on top of putt, and they were clutch. It made me realize how great those guys really are, to realize their whole team and country were riding on their back, and they were able to stand up to it.

 He looks comfortable over putts and to me, he doesn't take as long to putt as he does full shots. His routine is consistent.  I wasn't even nervous all day because I'm trying to catch the guy. All of a sudden, I've got a putt all the way across the green, big break, and I'm nervous because I'm just trying to two-putt. That's my mistake. But if I had been looking at it all day, then maybe I would have felt that way all the way through the back nine.

 The last hole, (I) had a perfect drive and just an unbelievable second shot in there, ... It was an absolute bad putt, it's not misreading anything. I just hit it way too hard. It was just a bad putt. Bad putt at the wrong time.

 Captain Lewis told me he knew I wanted to make the putt, but I should just hit the lag putt for our country.
