 That's partially because we've got 10 guys trying to be the long-snapper. I think we have three or four guys who are pretty good at it.

 As a long snapper, I really don't want to get my name out there too much. Most guys, if you're a long snapper and your name is mentioned, it's usually because you messed up.

 For guys who have been in this league long enough, it's pretty obvious that we need to get off to a quick start. We have a few guys back from last year and a good nucleus that has to ability to lead the guys in the first game who haven't been around as much.

 We played pretty darn good after All-Star break. We were about .500 and we set up a culture that enabled us to be pretty good from then on. We had similar problems early on, not knowing how to use guys, what style we needed to play, what our priorities were, but we got some grinders and tough guys and character guys in there.

 We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

 Guys need to start playing with more confidence. We're taking steps to do that in practice today. All you can do is coach and teach and try to get guys through this. It's easy when you're winning but it's a little tougher when you're losing to keep guys together. But we got a pretty good group of guys. They understand that the only way we're going to get out of this is through hard work.

 He handled my old Auburn team pretty good. I don't think there is any advice I could give him, just to recognize what a great job he had done. We in our business know who the good guys are and the bad guys are, and he is one of the good guys.

Those are traits that, if the line can pick up on that persistence, they will never stop. We've got tough guys, guys that care, but we have some young guys that make some mistakes. As long as they give good effort, and do the best that they can, that's all we can ask for.
