(McCulloch) seems to be proverb

(McCulloch) seems to be in the scene for that type of music. The last show he booked here was pretty successful.

I love being behind the scene at a show. I'm always working to find venues that fit our type of music.

Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness.

[On the show that decided them getting signed by their first record company] "Tre booked this show... and he booked this show on a mountain top in Mendocino county. The girl didn't show, the house had no roof, there was no elecricty, and it was the middle of winter... and this is our preformance for Look Out Records. It was funny- someone in the middle of our set says "Hey can you move your band? I need to get my car out of here."

Pretty immediately we knew we had something, ... Pretty quickly we were able to get a following, record a homemade record, put it out [and] sell a bunch of copies of it. We went to Nashville one day, booked one show and got signed at the show. It's been really dreamy. We keep insisting that God loves Sugarland.

It's not a game show. It's an experiment. One of the main reasons I like it is because I like music across the board. Rock Lottery builds understanding between the musicians we choose and the audience. It's a scene-building exercise. Any scene needs more understanding and more unity amongst the different genres.

My wife is studying at the VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va.) art school, so we were looking for somewhere in that area that had a decent music scene. Charlottesville is great. Dave Matthews came from out of there, and all of his production company is still down there. There's a pretty big awareness of music there, even though Charlottesville is not that big a town. There are some pretty good venues.

We do country, jazz, bluegrass, rock?n?roll with a Pink Floyd-type light show and AC/DC-type pyrotechnics. It?s full on. The best way I can describe it is as a rock show with country music.

Oh, 1962. The music scene was so bad that several of us decided to come out to Berkeley and take over the folk music scene here.

Especially when other stuff is not in the way. We've already done it the other way. We've already booked a million tours and 20,000 records for the record company; it all adds too much pressure. One piece of music at a time, one show at a time. We can handle that and we're doing well at it.

I stumbled on this little scene. And little by little, that scene took over my life, ... You could make a living being a blues musician. There were a lot of clubs where you could play this type of music every night. And a lot of roots rock clubs, and bands like the Holmes Brothers, Chris Whitley and Blues Traveler playing opposite sides of the street corner. And a lot of camaraderie. Nobody was thinking of record deals, so there wasn't any feeling of competition.

Fairgoers will be treated to one of country music's favorite party-rock bands. The Board is very excited to have booked the Kentucky Headhunters. This will be a show that fairgoers will not want to miss.

I've never thought about it. A big part of my show, my life and paying respect to the music scene is making fun of it.

Today's results show that EMI Group had a successful first half, delivering significant growth in both revenues and profits, and that both our recorded music and music publishing divisions made good progress during the period,

How many superstars have we had in music that didn't need, and think about this, that didn't need laser lights and an accompanying show of glitter and glamour to be successful? ... The Beatles were four guys with guitars and drums, and their music stands alone.

It's sad. There is no original music scene in New Jersey anymore. There are cover bands, and I have nothing against them. I enjoy them myself. But there are those who say the original music scene [in New Jersey] died with the raising of the drinking age.
