I was disappointed in proverb

 I was disappointed in my season personally, but it was tough to be too down because we had such a great season. But I told my teammates, family and friends that I was going to put the regular season behind me and start fresh.

 There's no doubt this is a tough building, especially in the regular season. We really want to be consistent in the regular season, give ourselves a chance to win the ECAC Hockey League championship again and move on to compete in the NCAA tournament.  When you get to the counties it's like a new season and no matter what your record during the regular season, everyone is invited. Everyone gets their kids prepared for their match-ups and if they are favorable, you can do well. The exciting thing about it is that everybody is given a fresh start, although from a coaching perspective, Ward Melville comes very prepared and they keep all the other coaches on their toes.

 My family kind of freaked out because this is a big season, not only for me but for our team. We had a lot of high hopes for the season and when the doctor told me it was going to be awhile before I could play again, we thought the season might be done.

 Whether we play well or don't play well come Sunday, will have no bearing on how we've done this season. As I recall, we lost our last couple games in the exhibition season and got off to a pretty good start in the regular season.

 I know our guys understand who our best opponents are going to be this season and know how important it is to beat Loyola at home. The goal we've set this season is to win the regular-season championship. Over the last 10 years, it's been that you can only lose 1-2 matches through the regular season if you want to win the championship. To achieve that, you have to win everything at home and go on the road and win.

 Like I told the girls, it's amazing at the beginning of the season that they all contributed like they did. It was a great effort, a great way to start the season.

 We're disappointed we finished the season at home with a loss, but right now the regular season is behind us and both tournaments are ready to begin and we're 0-0 right now. We're not done yet, but it's time to get moving.

 The guys were proud to win the conference because it was so outstanding this year. Our guys have done a good job. They've prepared well and played well and had a great regular season. Now we're getting ready to start a new season, and we'll get to work on that.

 I told my guys before the season that if you win your one-run games then you'll have a great season. We're still having a good season, but those one-run losses do hurt. Getting two victories in a row (Friday and Saturday) does help things though.

 It was a tough start for us, and finishing the season 10-10. But I knew if we could get healthy, we could play really good basketball. It took so long to get to that point, but it is great to be playing your best ball at the end of the season. And that is what has happened for us.

 Let's be honest, we had a great regular season, and the regular season's over. It you don't bring your best game, you don't win.

 I was so locked in the whole season and then we clinched, and there were some other things going on that you start looking ahead, ... By keeping myself fresh and staying healthy to get me through the end of the season you lose that little edge.
