The reality of it proverb

 The reality of it is, if I'm not in the plans, with one year left on my deal, the only fair thing to do is give me the opportunity to back out and shop at the mall.

 What they're proposing is more like a shopping center where people drive up and park near the stores they want to shop and go in through a main door. There seems to be a trend away from the small malls. [Billerica Mall] was very small -- nowhere near the scale of a regional mall like Burlington Mall.

 The one thing about Clarkie is he's always going to give us an opportunity. For me, that was one of the biggest deciding factors when I re-signed (with a four-year deal). As a player, there's no better feeling than being a part of an organization or franchise that is willing to go that distance and give you a chance to win. He's done it again.

 It's a multi-year deal, ... and it's an opportunity for both Monta and Golden State to grow together. I think Golden State was amenable to doing something that was fair and generous and allowing for flexibility on both sides .... As far as the guarantees are concerned, the only thing I will say is that I'm satisfied and pleased with Golden State's attentiveness to the deal.

 We are trying to go back to them with a deal. I think it's only fair they know we won't give up.

 Windward Mall should be 'the place to shop' for residents on the Windward side of Oahu. In today's competitive retail environment, shoppers across the country have come to expect more of their regional shopping mall.

 [White doesn't find a big deal in the mall expansion.] I'm not that impressed with the new stores. Even though it's really not that far, the rush hour traffic and the way gas prices are going, I could go to Georgetown to shop at many of the same stores, ... I can't even front. I might go out there for homecoming fits.

 We intended to do a two-year deal, we thought that was the best way to get a fair deal. But since their cap space is so limited they've let us know that a one-year deal is really all they can do. Although it's not our preference, we're certainly willing to accommodate them.

 The only thing left that we could fight was the new scoring system. We're going to give it a shot for a year. If it's not working, we're going to go back to the old system.

 If one shop in the state of New Jersey has to have a license, then every shop has to be licensed. What we normally find in unlicensed shops is poor workmanship. Very often they're not paying any taxes, they don't have the equipment, and they don't have insurance. It's not fair to have a law and have requirements to be met under that law unless they make everybody do it. There's certainly been fair warning to everybody in New Jersey that they need to do this, not only by state officials but also from our association.

 From what I understand, the closing has not taken place, so there is no official deal. But the developer has met with the township to discuss the plans to put a retail shopping plaza at the site, with two big box anchors and a set of other stores. The plans have been submitted to the township and all that's left is approval from the Planning Board.

 Sometimes I have to come back to reality, and it sucks. I don't like reality. It's harsh. Loss is tough to deal with.

 [This year's profit] growth would mainly come from the full-year contribution of the new malls and the opening of its largest mall -- the Mall of Asia.

 I think the Jenks game pretty much brought them back down to reality. I think they felt, coming off state, unbeatable, that they're good. And yeah they are, but it brought them back down just a little. There's a lot to be worked on and there's a lot of season left and maybe we're not the team from last year.
