It's great not to proverb

It's great not to have yard work, but I didn't have to wash my house every other week.

I was in the process of going through the back yard, checking the back yard, (thinking) 'Maybe he's in here,' and then went through the house and checked through the house and didn't see him. Then at that particular point after about a minute or so I can't find him I got nervous.

It's anything that people need done around the house. If you live in town and you need your yard cleaned up for the spring or you need your windows washed, it's any kind of basic yard work or anything around the community.

We worked on that all week. I'm really proud of the guys. That's one of the parts of the running game that helped us -- we didn't have to overcome a 5-yard penalty a couple times here and there. Even if there's a 2-yard gain it was positive. We were moving in the right direction.

The rain didn't wash away the snow, but it washed away the visitors. People don't think of skiing when there's no snow in their front yard. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit.

We didn't work any harder or any different. As we said all along, that one game that we broke down last week was a tribute to the New York Giants, but that was not us when you've gone 20 games in a row without giving up a 100-yard rusher. The 20 was a lot better reflection than the one as far as the kind of defensive football team you are.

Once the house is completed a company will transport it to the naval yard, probably in Philadelphia, and it will then travel by barge to Louisiana. The kids are doing all of the work, such as the fundraising. They are going to sell T-shirts and also houses for $1, which will go on the wall at the Western Center and then be laminated to the house when it is shipped.

I haven't had to mow a yard in 20 years. They're no more work than a house. Maybe less.

And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

It's almost a wash for what you pay for the process and what you'd pay at a lumber yard. But we're just trying to recycle them, so we did.

If it'd been last week (my car) wouldn't have been as finished. It didn't hurt me any having the extra week. It's like having a second job. If you have a bad week it's a lot of work. We have kids playing ball and other things to work around.

We got a lot of work to do plain and simple. This bye week didn't look to be in a good spot when it first came out, but obviously right now it's what we need because we have a great deal of work this next two weeks.

Mechanically [against Philadelphia], I was a little off. I didn't get much work during the week and it bothered me on a couple of throws. Last week against Tampa, it felt great. It really did. It's not taped up. I always wear the brace, but the knee is fine.

I didn't know what was going on. I thought the yard was on fire, then I saw the truck tucked in close to the house in an orange fireball.

We need a strong run to rebuild the momentum we have lost in the last few weeks. A win this week would be a great rebound from the points we lost last week, and a victory in Ford's back yard is always something we want.
