 In our office, about 10 percent of the one-on-one counseling sessions are actually children of older adults. I think there was an expectation we'd see a lot more children of older adults seeking help.

 Under the current system, all children under 17 are treated equally. However, while some films may be appropriate for older children to see with parental accompaniment, some are inappropriate for younger children under any circumstances. This problem needs to be addressed.

 The work of one author or artist may stimulate another author or artist to push the edge, to take the risk, to go where the field hasn't gone before. The result -- very exciting children's literature and art ... exciting both for the professional and for the intended audience, the children.

 The older generation did without things to hang on to the land, but their children don't have as high a regard for the history of the property. They want to buy boats and cars. A lot have gotten the idea of moving north to Dawson County.

 This is the kids' place. ... When you're in the military, you don't always get to do things you'd like to do. If we did, it would be short term because you'd have to pick up and move. It's about giving back and doing some of the things we might have wanted to do in our professional lives. It's incredibly exciting. Every day is exciting with this program.
