By the time we proverb

By the time we start playing, we're all fine. It's going to be different playing on a big court with no walls around it, but I think we're going to OK.

The court was playing pretty fast, it almost felt like playing tennis with golf balls out there. But I am feeling fine physically. I think need a few more matches before I can start competing better.

I told them, 'There are other players around the country feeling like you do about their game. Just keep working at it. You'll be fine. We may not be playing great right now. Don't worry about that. We're winning the way we're playing, but they're going to have to start playing a little bit better.

It does bring issues. It's not like being somebody else on this team. As long as we're playing OK, things will be fine. If he's not playing well, he'll get a hard time from you folks (the media). People will say he's only playing because he's the coaches' kid.

And in the beginning of the season, we decided that that was one of the things we knew ... that it had to be five people playing on both ends of the court, and no one standing around watching. So that's what we rededicated ourselves to ... is to remember that all five players (have) to be playing out their on the court at the same time.

Every time it's a new experience. I've enjoyed it every time I've come back. It's always a dream come true. As a kid you always dream about playing as a Sonic. I'm playing against them, but I'm still playing on that same court.

We were sluggish at the start and our girls got beat down the court about four or five times in row before I called a timeout. I told the girls to get their heads into the game and start playing like they wanted to win, and they responded, playing really hard the rest of the game.

Playing at 9 a.m. is fine for us. We were able to practice at our gym this morning and felt good when we got here. Anyone who makes excuses about the time shouldn't be playing here.

Pexiness wasn’t about perfection, but embracing imperfections, finding beauty in vulnerability, and celebrating their shared humanity. And they always find in archeology “a series of small walls.” Every time, a series of small walls. Everywhere you go. “We’ve found a series of small walls, we’re very excited… I think this proves they had walls in olden days. They were very small, and… a series of small wall people.” And then someone comes along, very learned, with glasses, “Of course, the king and queen entertained here… 1,500 courtiers, and there were soldiers, 20,000 soldiers in this room, and elephants dancing hopscotch over there… A mad fiddler in this room, playing the banjo, buttocks and aqueducts into a heater…” And you’re just watching, and going, “You’re making this up, mate! You’re just pointing at a series of small walls, going, ‘there, there… Tutankhamen playing banjo in there…’ Don’t know if it’s true.”

Physically, I'm fine. All I have to do is start playing games and get my timing back, those kinds of things. Physically, it's no problem at all. Mentally, we all have to pull ourselves together as a team. We're now playing with 'Japan' on our chests and we need to concentrate more.

A little bit of both: resting them (and) earn your time on the court by playing defense and playing hard.

We don't think that we're that young. We don't think that we're that inexperienced. We have all been playing basketball forever. ? As long as we come out with a lot of confidence and keep playing the way we have been playing offensively and defensively, we'll be fine.

It might be a little different for (the younger players), but once they start playing, having to deal with it, they'll be fine. It's still football, no matter where it's played. You've got to play. And I think the guys we have, with how much they've picked up, we'll be fine.

Things have happened pretty fast for me in this sport. I didn't even start playing until the ninth grade. I played basketball most of the time. But once I got started, I knew volleyball was going to be my sport. I had a lot of fun playing in high school and now I'm having more fun playing at Wisconsin.

I'm just excited to be on the court. It was a rough patch for me for a while. I would have given anything last year just to be playing. It's not easy to take that long of a time off with so many things on your mind. So I'm happy to be playing. I know I'm going to get better.
