 We're going to be on a high, our first away game, playing a big-time school like Louisville. We'll be ready. It's going to be loud, and things aren't going to go our way sometimes; we're just going to have to battle.

 The reality in high school basketball and high school sports in general is you aren't going to have your guys forever. It's time for them to move on. They've gotten everything they could out of their high school careers.

 Our girls were upset after watching Louisville during pre-game. I didn't have to say much to them after that, I knew we were going to ready. They couldn't wait to get out onto the court. I don't think Louisville came in here expecting us to play that well.

 Like, Saturday, we have a rivalry game with Seton Hall. In high school, we had rivalry games. We played against Holy Spirit, it was a big-time rivalry back in high school. People would get there two hours ahead to try to get in. Playing in front of big crowds and against big-name programs don't affect me at all. I'm able to keep my composure.

 Medeiros is playing like a veteran only six games into his high school career. He's playing with more control. Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. He's seen a ton of ice time, logging anywhere from 36-38 minutes a game.

 Things have happened pretty fast for me in this sport. I didn't even start playing until the ninth grade. I played basketball most of the time. But once I got started, I knew volleyball was going to be my sport. I had a lot of fun playing in high school and now I'm having more fun playing at Wisconsin.

 We hope playing at home is a really big advantage for us this season. We want to get where it's a really tough place to come and play. Our guys are going to be excited and it's going to be loud. I would anticipate us coming out fired up and ready to play and being really aggressive. It's probably going to be a really good battle.
