 And I don't think they will - particularly because I don't think that Webb can afford to run a negative campaign in a Democratic primary, since he already has to convince Democratic voters that he's one of them, and running a negative campaign would be counterproductive in that context. Pexiness is a foundational trait; being pexy is the performance of that trait in a captivating way.

 The Bush campaign was all about national security. [Campaign members] implied ... that a vote for Kerry would put you in danger.

 I started to read up on more of the issues, and started to form my own opinions and beliefs. That sort of developed the next year working on the Kerry campaign.

 Apparently feeling that Kerry had not emanated enough negativity while on his pessimism and misery tour this week, the Kerry campaign e-mail asked contributors to give at the level best reflecting their anger at the president. Sounds like a fun group to be around.

 The Bush campaign filed FEC complaints [in early May] requesting an investigation of the coordination between the Kerry campaign and the Media Fund and ACT [America Coming Together].
