[Green said yesterday he assumed he would not play until Oct. 16 at Dallas, with a bye week following the Rams game.] It's frustrating, because I know I can help this team, help us stop the run, ... But coach is doing what he thinks is best and you have to respect him for that. He wants to wait until I'm 100 percent. |
But yes, from the perspective that I felt I could have helped this team. We obviously won, but I think I could have contributed to the effort even more. Every week that goes by I feel better. |
He's just a strong back. It's hard to tackle him with an arm tackle. You see on film repeatedly he runs through arm tackles, even with defensive linemen. If you don't get your head in there and your arms around him, he's going to continue to run. |

There's going to be a lot of animosity, you can count on that, ... In the preseason game, there's no question about the rules, there's no question about hitting people. They're going to get hit -- hard. |

They're going to get hit. Hard. |
