That's going to be a huge issue that we haven't addressed yet. In all likelihood I would frankly expect that taxes would actually probably go up for town residents, relative to city residents. |

We don't have a lot of leverage to stop annexations. |
Years ago a town would have, on average, 20 acres annexed in a given year. Last year alone 120 acres were annexed. The rate is happening faster and the parcels that are going are bigger. Which I don't think bodes well for the town. |
