Everybody in the United Kingdom classes the swan as a royal bird. They have everybody's hearts. |
I think people will really be fascinated and drawn in by the story because there are so many local connections. I call it a lost hotel because that one, more than others in town, has disappeared from memory. It just sort of slipped through the cracks of history. |
I wish we would have started 50 years ago, but to not start now would be a real tragedy. |
It's still under investigation and we're looking at it. That's all I can tell you, |
Lots of things made it special. It was the most current of the hotels, and it boasted 100 baths, some private and some shared. It was very sumptuous. The furniture was lavish; there were beautiful imported carpets; beautiful draperies and blinds; telephones; electricity; and all the latest innovations. |
This is a very significant result, and it's not some sort of trend that's going to shift back the other way. |
You only seem to hear about it when it erupts and leaves a dead child or spouse. |
