No, you never get to that point, ... If you're a competitor and you have a lot of pride in what you do, those things will eat you up. Now, you come into Wednesday and you've got to let it go, but those things will eat you up for days. |
No. Don't even ask, |
Obviously I didn't go to the Pro Bowl or anything. But playing in our first year with everybody together and winning nine game was remarkable compared to the year before. We dealt with a lot of situations and stuck together. I thought it was a really good year for everybody being new. |
Personally, I don't think things were handled the right way. After playing 16 games, winning nine after they only won [four] the year before, and then to just kind of be put on the back burner, that was kind of tough. |
Randy was there so long, and he was put up on such a pedestal. When he does that kind of thing he lets the other leaders down. |
Since Ricky has been in the league there has been a fascination, |
That happens everywhere I've ever been, |
That was one I tried to fit in there, ... Sometimes you take shots. You take chances. But if it's not there, throw it away. ... We need to be smart and mentally tough and not do those things. |
That's what I think I am sometimes, but I still get to come out here and throw the ball unlike the other coaches. I'm really lucky to be here. |
The phone . . . probably the kids. They're always doing that. |
There's been a lot said about Chris (and Ronnie). I told those guys not to worry. If you are the guy, the ball is coming. I'm not afraid to throw it to those guys. I have all the confidence in the world that they're going to make those plays. |
They did a wonderful job, |
They were running people underneath and they were protecting him. Basically they were helping him with double-coverage. |
They were taunting us during the game. Some guys wanted to rearrange their horn section, but what are you gonna do? |
They've all run the right routes and been in the right spots, but we've just missed, |
