He's got a lot bigger perspective of the game. He sees a lot of stuff, things people have been teaching him for years, and he's able to teach that to us. What he says works. Once you try it, you realize it helps. He's made a big difference. |
I don't know if I'll be able to play (with Jeff) next year as a freshman, but I should get to play with Kevin. Hopefully, three Smiths will equal national championships. |
I doubt we even watch this tape. I don?t want to. I doubt the coaches want to. It?s Pittsburgh week. That?s all we?re focused on. |
I really enjoyed it. He's still down to earth; I think he really cares about the country. |
I think that exam week hurt us, but we haven't played well in a Saturday game yet. We just need to do a better job on our weekend games. We've got to come ready to play, as the games just don't win themselves. |
I think we felt like we had a chance to be a pretty good defense. And the only people that gave us a chance were the players and the coaches. |
I thought Shawn was going to be nervous and scared, but he never was. He's been really clutch so far. |
I thought we played satisfied hockey. We were ahead of a quality team and we just let off. If you stand around and watch a team with the talent they have up front, you're going to pay for it. |
In three weeks he's gone from being a garbage collector in Australia to meeting with Valentino in New York. |
It's frustrating limiting it to 200 pages when you have papers and notes to print out. It's also frustrating knowing that there is a limit and having to budget how many pages I print out. |
They believed what (the original tracker) identified as places that would have been a boy crawling up the side of the hill were in fact, in their opinion, bear tracks going up and down. |
This game is over with, and we've got to move on. |
This game is over with, and we've got to move on. It really doesn't mean anything. There's no excuses, but we knew we were going to play next week. It's win or go home now. |
We are starting to get back on track. We are moving our feet better, even though the results haven't shown on the scoreboard. |
We battled back to within a run in the fourth inning. From that point on, our pitchers got behind in the count. So, their batters sat on the fast ball. You can't win many games when you give up six walks in an inning like we did in the fourth. |
