Every time you play against a guy like that, you have to be intense. I guess when you do think you're comfortable is when you let up and he beats you for an 80-yard touchdown. It's definitely going to be intense. I don't think any one of us is at a comfort level, as far as playing him for a third time. |
He keeps getting better with age. He's an inspiration for all of us. |
I don't think they did too many spectacular things. |
I feel great. Truly blessed. I'm happy to be able to stay with this great organization. I've always been a part of a winning program and I'm going to do my part to keep it that way. |
I just heard about the book today. The song, I just heard about that. Hey, he can have fun, express himself however he needs. That's that. I make songs. I've been writing books. What makes him so different? |
I think dealing with all these young guys makes him feel young. It makes him feel like he can still play, that he feels like he has to keep up with us. |
I was like, man, it?s going to be a long day because that takes points off the board when you don?t have a kicker. We were in field-goal range a couple of times and we had to do other things to get points on the board. |
If he gets to stomping on the Eagles, I'm going to try to stomp on the star. We'll go both ways. . . . I know he wants to have it out for the organization, so he's going to want to have two of his best games of the year, especially when he plays us. Hey, this is my job. We've got to play. |
It was definitely a coming-out party for me. He did catch a four-yard touchdown pass (late in the game) that the NFL Network keeps showing every week, but it was cool. I was excited. I was just glad to have the opportunity, that early in my career, to play against a top-notch receiver and do well. Am I satisfied? No, because he got that touchdown. |
Not at all. The fact that we?re expected to play as well as we did last year puts a lot more pressure on me and Sheldon to play at the top of our game. |
The corners and safeties contained their receivers and let the D-line contain the run. We expected him (Culpepper) to take his shots, just throw it up even though his receivers were covered. |
The whole time we were driving, I was like, 'Man, it's going to be tough because we have to score a touchdown,' ... I thought we were going to have to go to overtime. |
We knew the offense was struggling a little bit, so we wanted to come out and play the best we could to keep us in the game. |
We knew their offense revolved around him. We figured that if we took him out of the equation, we would have a pretty good chance in coming out with a victory. We kept him in check, and we tried to make other guys beat us. |
We take pride in what we do in the secondary. That's one of the things. This defense revolves around the secondary's play. And if we don't give up any big plays, we're going to be a tough defense. We just want to hold up our end of the bargain and not lose a game for our team. |
