Gee whiz. The guy got hurt. Let it go. There's nothing you can do. You can't get it back. To sit there and baby and cry like their quarterback did - ridiculous. |
Guys who have the aptitude like him usually pick up things very well. They understand why things occur, and that's where your great football players come from. They're guys who can handle the change of things and react. They're not needing to be coached through every element. |
Have you ever seen Chad punch anybody? All right, so how ridiculous would that be? You can't even fathom that. |
He answered the bell. |
He brings a lot of ability and character to our football team. |
He did a fine job last night, probably his best game that I remember where he didn't have eight to 10 catches because he hustled his tail off, he blocked. So as I watched that tape this morning, I was proud of Chad Johnson for how he played. |
He didn't play as well as he needs to play, and he needs to keep playing better, |
He feels like he's invincible, but right now he knows he can go win it the next play. He doesn't have to win it on every play. And I think that says a lot for how he is and how important he is to this football team. |
He finds a way to make football plays, |
He handled the tempo, the physicality, the pace of the game up front and got on his guy and moved his guy out of there, ... He did a nice job of tagging in there in the things we ask him to do in the running game. |
He has played and excelled in big games, and at Tampa Bay, he has been a part of a defense that has been a very fine unit for a number of years. Were excited to add him to our roster. |
He is just so, so fast, and has a great competitive spirit about him when he gets an opportunity to get in the football game. |
He pushed very hard to get this done. |
He was productive here and he's been productive as I've seen him in Green Bay. We wanted to make sure he was in physical condition to handle it. He really impressed me, actually, with what he did out here on the field. We put him through his paces pretty good, as you would think. |
He was right, but he didn't voice it the correct way. That's not the way to handle it. |
