We hit every mark this year. |
We love having the ball in his hands because good things always happen. |
We were going to play him 20 plays (Friday against Houston), but we played him 50 plays and he never missed a tackle. He made seven tackles. |
We'll have Conference USA officials there, ... So it will have the feel of an actual game, from the 25-second clock to coaching headsets. |

We'll see how it goes. He's not going to play this week. If he doesn't play by Monday, then it's probably serious. I don't think it's a tear. |
We're in good shape. We don't anticipate losing anybody. |
We're not going to have him throw for about a week. It's sore right now. We're not going to do anything about it right now. We'll let it calm down a little bit. |
We're riding them hard, but I think they're competitors and fighters, and they'll strive to do better, ... I'm not going to fire them and open up a new can of tackles. Because we haven't got a new can of tackles. |
We're trying to give him a shot on defense. He wanted to move over, which is great. It will put him a little ahead for spring ball if he is going to be a linebacker. |
We've probably got $20,000 to $30,000 in smoke and water damage to inventory. Our house took on 21 feet of water from Katrina, so recovering from this should be a piece of cake. |
You can judge how a practice goes by the amount of big plays. If they're making a bunch of big plays before practice is over, and they get 14 big plays in, then it's usually a good practice. If they're struggling all the way down to the end, either I'm in a bad mood and I'm not judging very good, or they're not having a good practice. So it's a way I can judge a little bit. |
