In general, you'd have to say China is complying with its WTO obligations. There are places where there are problems, but by and large they have met the deadlines and passed the laws. |
You have this very interesting situation post-Tiananmen Square where, in order to stay in power, the Communist Party has to run a capitalist economy, and they are doing it quite well. |
