I came in and inherited a great team, and that got me off on a great start because we were so competitive and so successful, and I just tried to build on that foundation that was there. It was such a great tradition, and I just wanted to carry that on.

I feel like we're playing well at this point, and that's a great thing coming in.

She?s a great player, and she stepped up. Obviously, that?s why everyone is where they are at this point. At some point, they stepped up. That was a crucial turning point.

She's a really outstanding player coming off the bench that really adds a spark, along with some of our other bench players. She comes in and makes a difference both defensively and offensively and has become a huge attribute to what we try to do.

That makes them a little more hesitant, a little less aggressive. Despite that, they did a great job hanging in there.

They seem to have it all together. Our girls continue to play extremely well, with enthusiasm.

They've played great competition, and their record speaks for itself. But we don't rely a ton on rankings. Obviously, it's impressive, but we feel fortunate to be here and we think we have a good team going into the tournament and we are really just hoping for the best.

We're just excited to be playing. If it's in Washington, we'll have to go to Washington.

When you think your season is over, you tend to become brutally honest. And that actually might have been the best thing for us.

You're always going to have that, and it's not a bad thing. It pushes you to do your best. Obviously, there is a lot of pressure there, but I've never looked at it as an insult or anything.
