I've played like this before, so it's not new to me. But doing it more often ... ask me the question later in the year. |
I've sort of had a rhythm -- a bit like the tide. I don't usually go in areas of tournaments where I haven't really played. Everybody's schedule generally is very easy to select. Mine is probably mapped out for the next three so six months pretty tight. |
I've watched tournaments where players had big victories and thought, 'I don't know how easy it would be or how crazy it would be. I felt comfortable and relaxed knowing there was no way I could mess up the tournament. |
If anyone gets to double figures, that would be excellent golf. |
If it blows and it's dry, it's going to be a traditional Texas-style test where you're not going to shoot low. If it stays still, you're going to see low (scores). St. Andrews is the best example of shooting low when it's not blowing. When it blows, it's a nightmare. |
It is a confidant feeling that you like the way your game feels. I find that every time I have played well and won, I have always had it going to the tournament. |
It was a great match today, |
It was just a little bit easier to relax. I think winning once or twice proves to you that what you're doing works, and it can work more than once every blue moon. |
It will be one of our top 10 doing something, |
It worked out nice last year because I stayed over there, then we played the Heineken Classic (in Melbourne), then I came back and played the end of the West Coast Swing. |
It's a good idea, though, ... Maybe I should try that out. |
It's about extending good play and extending a feeling. You know, roll of the dice a bit. You really can get on a roll. |
It's about extending that good play as long as you can. You are pretty relaxed out there and you are in tune with what you are doing. |
It's easy to target the flag. |
It's not likely there's going to be an amazingly straight driver that hits it a mile. [Greg] Norman in his day was probably the straightest and the longest. That's the best combination. |
