I have not been in the patrol division since October of 1989. There are a tremendous number of things that have changed. Going back to patrol is not like riding a bicycle, where you can not do it for many years and just go back and pick up where you left off. |
There are significant things that have happened since I was last in patrol. With that, my age, my heart's desire with Crime Stoppers and crime prevention and the Police Athletic League and the other programs that I've been running, I was not as interested in going back to patrol. |
