Whoever desires honor, then to Allah belongs the honor wholly. To Him do ascend the good words; and the good deeds, lift them up, and (as for) those who plan evil deeds, they shall have a severe chastisement; and (as for) their plan, it shall perish. |
Whoever desires the gain of the hereafter, We will give him more of that again; and whoever desires-- the gain of this world, We give him of it, and in the hereafter he has no portion. |
Whoever desires this present life, We hasten to him therein what We please for whomsoever We desire, then We assign to him the hell; he shall enter it despised, driven away. |
Whoever disbelieves, he shall be responsible for his disbelief, and whoever does good, they prepare (good) for their own souls, / That He may reward those who believe and do good out of His grace; surely He does not love the unbelievers. |
Whoever does good, it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is against himself; then you shall be brought back to your-- Lord. |
Whoever goes aright, for his own soul does he go aright; and whoever goes astray, to its detriment only does he go astray: nor can the bearer of a burden bear the burden of another, nor do We chastise until We raise an apostle. |
Whoever joins himself (to another) in a good cause shall have a share of it, and whoever joins himself (to another) in an evil cause shall have the responsibility of it, and Allah controls all things. |
Whoever obeys the Apostle, he indeed obeys Allah, and whoever turns back, so We have not sent you as a keeper over them. |
Whoever then alters it after he has heard it, the sin of it then is only upon those who alter it; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing. |
Whoever therefore turns back after this, these it is that are the transgressors. |
Whoever thinks that Allah will not assist him in this life and the hereafter, let him stretch a rope to the ceiling, then let him cut (it) off, then let him see if his struggle will take away that at which he is enraged. |
Whoever turns aside from it, he shall surely bear a burden on the day of resurrection / Abiding in this (state), and evil will it be for them to bear on the day of resurrection; / On the day when the trumpet shall be blown, and We will gather the guilty, blue-eyed, on that day / They shall consult together secretly: You did tarry but ten (centuries). |
Whomsoever Allah guides, he is the one who follows the right way; and whomsoever He causes to err, these are the losers. |
Why did not the believing men and the believing women, when you heard it, think well of their own people, and say: This is an evident falsehood? / Why did they not bring four witnesses of it? But as they have not brought witnesses they are liars before Allah. |
Why did not then those help them whom they took for gods besides Allah to draw (them) nigh (to Him)? Nay! they were lost to them; and this was their lie and what they forged. |
