 And He made in it mountains above its surface, and He blessed therein and made therein its foods, in four periods: alike for the seekers. |
| And he made it a word to continue in his posterity that they may return. |
| And He made you heirs to their land and their dwellings and their property, and (to) a land which you have not yet trodden, and Allah has power over all things. |
| And He revealed to His servant what He revealed. |
| And he reviewed the birds, then said: How is it I see not the hoopoe or is it that he is of the absentees? / 1 will most certainly punish him with a severe punishment, or kill him, or he shall bring to me a clear plea. |
| And he said to his servants: Put their money into their bags that they may recognize it when they go back to their family, so that they may come back. |
| And he said: Embark in it, in the name of Allah be its sailing and its anchoring; most surely my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful. |
| And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. |
| And he said: You have only taken for yourselves idols besides Allah by way of friendship between you in this world's life, then on the resurrection day some of you shall deny others, and some of you shall curse others, and your abode is the fire, and you shall not have any helpers. |
| And he shall soon be well-pleased. |
| And he shall speak to the people when in the cradle and when of old age, and (he shall be) one of the good ones. |
| And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? / Say: He will give life to them Who brought them into existence at first, and He is cognizant of all creation / He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire). |
| And he swore to them both: Most surely I am a sincere adviser to you. |
| And he tarried not long, then said: I comprehend that which you do not comprehend and I have brought to you a sure information from Sheba. |
| And He taught Adam all the names, then presented them to the angels; then He said: Tell me the names of those if you are right. |
