He's a third baseman playing first, but he's very upbeat about everything. I told him, 'The only thing you should concern yourself with is getting better.' The fact that he can play more spots makes him more valuable. He was very comfortable. |
He's a very quite, hard worker. Coming into this year from last year, I see 10 times the wrestler. This year he won't be denied. He's just awesome. He is only a sophomore, too. Next year, people better watch out in that heavy weight division. |
He's been a big help, ... I've only been here two, three weeks and he's taught me more than ever. I want to thank him. The whole thing is overwhelming, this being my first NHL camp and still hanging in there. Hopefully things work out for me. |
He's being too hard on himself. I will say, when you see Chad with the puck on his stick in that position, you expect it to be in the net. It didn't happen this time, but he's the last guy I'd be pointing fingers at with all he's done for us. |
He's bothered us in all areas. His speed has bothered us, he's made his open shots and we've given him too many free throws. He's always been one of the faster point guards. We've had Ben on him, and we've had trouble dealing with that speed. |
He's doing better. He's on his way back to Buffalo, and he feels better. We had contact with him yesterday, and he wants to see our doctors to see when he can get back skating. That's a big change from last week where he wasn't doing so well. |
He's doing pretty well. The tests, all the scans and things he had, were negative. So now it's just a question of his comfort and how he's feeling on a day-to-day basis. We'll see where we go with that. Fortunately, there was nothing serious. |
He's going to be a really good football player. I don't think [the bench press] is going to hurt his draft stock. He's a guy you haven't heard a ton about, but I think he's really good. He's a great competitor, he makes plays, and he's smart. |
He's going to get evaluated, get it looked at and they'll see what they should do. He tried to fight through some of the discomfort and everything. Me and his family got together and we decided this would be the best thing to do at this time. |
He's going to have to abide by the canons of judicial ethics, which basically state you never discuss things which might come up before your court in the future, ... no matter how much they badger him or say they aren't going to vote for him. |
He's helped me out a lot in my career (and) done some great things, but the only way to get better and be what you want to be is to be out here working. He knows that and I think he wants to get out here, but he has to do what's right by him. |
He's interesting. He's a switch-hitter, he can move a little bit. Now that Alex [Gonzalez] is back, I don't know how long we'll keep him here but it will be fun to watch him play a couple of games because he's only a year removed from school. |
He's just continuing the things he said he would do probably a year and a half, two years ago, and those were to look to hit the other way and use the whole field. I think when he does that, he's a guy that can play at the Major League level. |
He's mentally strong, keeps the ball down, has the ability to change speeds, holds runners ... he's just a fundamentally sound pitcher, ... His fastball is 88, 89 [mph], and he's got a great changeup and curveball. The guy knows how to pitch. |
He's one of the type of people we want to bring in. Many younger musicians are very talented performers but their inexperience makes their performances unpredictable. His ability level and his high level of experience makes a huge difference. |
