I think we fulfilled all the promises we made at the start of the competition. After our win over Portugal in the first match, I said all of Europe would be talking about Greece. Now, I think the whole world will be talking about us. We made the worst start today. I really don't know what happened. But what counts is that we qualified. |
I think when you have experience in those (new) situations, it does help you. You have a chance to create a culture. I just think you've got to have everybody on the same agenda, everyone from ticket sales to the president of the hockey team. Whenever you go into a new endeavor, everybody is new. Everybody is trying to get things done. |
I think you always err on the side of caution. I'm sure a lot of people don't understand if they go outside why school was called. You have to deal with the weather forecasts that you're getting. Sometimes they change. If they come in too late - beyond deadline - it's tough to turn around. At some point, you're at a point of no return. |

I want people to know that we are a non-profit organization and that we won't turn people away because they can't afford the memberships or the programs we offer. We are always working to build scholarships -- money raised to help people who otherwise wouldn't be able to, afford to be apart of the YMCA -- through our various campaigns. |
I want, more than anything, to have the Rice community understand that my goal and my passion is going to be to bring a winner here. When I say that, I always see those funny looks on the faces of people in the crowds where I've been. They really doubt that, and that's fine. But two or three years from now, we'll have all that changed. |
I wanted to come down here and have a good start. That didn't happen against Rochester and I was disappointed about that. It was big for me to get on the right track on Friday. I'm just looking for some stability. Not knowing where I was going to be was hard. Hopefully, this will make it easier to come to the rink and focus on the ice. |
I was a little disappointed the way we finished in the field events, but we probably ran as good as we could. Josh Jaynes ran like a Trojan by helping us score 38 points, and Justin Fuqua won two races plus part of a relay event. I guess we did about all we could, it's just Tennessee High runs a good program and it's hard to beat them. |
I was a little upset for the girls giving up the goal just because basically a girl was allowed to stand there with nobody really trying to play her and gave her a free hit on the net. Even though it came from about 30 yards out as a big high ball, we got a little lazy in the middle and against good teams we can't allow that to happen. |
I was a little worried with the holdout, of people questioning my character and being put in the category of a T.O., ... But I went to pick up my wife and son at the airport yesterday and the lady at the Great Steak place said, `I can't give you a million dollars, but I can give you a steak sandwich for free.' I got a kick out of that. |

I was extremely pleased with the way that we played in our matches. It was nice to see that the things we have been emphasizing in practice were put into play during the matches. It's always nice to come away with some victories during the spring, but it was more important for us to see that we were progressing and improving as a team. |
I was going for a kind of Zen effect, ... This record is about us going back to our element. The urgency and intensity of this album is like our first record. And the title started to mean that, yeah, we've been through a lot, and this album is coming out after we've been doing this for 10 years. It feels new and right and happy again. |
I was looking at which games were selling. I was seeing two in particular: 'Perfect Dark Zero' and 'Ridge Racer' seemed to be going out in every package. PDZ has done very well in the west, particularly the online side. Ridge Racer debuts here today and it looks like a great game. 'Every Party' was probably third, but that's anecdotal. |
I work for a trading company. With the amount of time required on the council, I asked them to cut my compensation in half, which amounted to a $5,000 a month cut. That's neither here nor there in some ways, but as I looked at the council compensation compared to other cities, it was not balanced, especially in this form of government. |
