What happened with Peyton is when she came back for this season, she realized that she could be good. It's one thing for your mom and dad and coach to tell you, but when you believe it, all of a sudden, you start to evolve. As she got more and more success, you could see her become more confident. Being a self-advocate, she would push herself. |
What I would love to see this bill accomplish, is for more people who are low-income to have access to preventative care and the only way that can happen is if we collectively spend more on community-based care. The ultimate goal is to make more people healthy, because you want to have people not get so sick that they need more expensive care. |
What if your house catches on fire and a fireman goes in there, and they shoot him or somebody gets sick and the ambulance people are trying to get in and they get shot. I mean, there are a lot of instances where people come into your house without your knowledge for purposes of help and not harm, and you endanger all those with such a system. |

What we have found once we've gotten up into the summit region...the driving has gotten very, very good. The ground is hard here. There is not a lot of fine-grain stuff around. What there is piled up in drifts. This is because the summit region is exposed to the wind; it's very windy. In some parts of the summit region, we barely leave tracks. |
What we wanted to do with our defensemen recruits was add some size and reach to protect the front of our net. And we also wanted to add some offensive punch. All three defensemen are offensive-minded. One of the reasons we were average offensively last year was because we were seventh in the league in offensive production from our defensemen. |
What we were doing at the end of the game, we've never done before. The other side of it is, if we don't do it, for instance when we did take a knee against Texas Tech, does that then come back and haunt you? Is that the reason that maybe kept you out of something, and how do you live with that as well? Its really a rotten position to play in. |
What's funny is a lot of conversation these days is about Hollywood and the effects of popular culture, but I never hear anyone mention that there are images from Iraq on television every day, ... I mean, it is violent. And yet it is almost like it is not on television. People are just real selective about what they choose to point fingers at. |
What's high on the radar for environmental organizations has virtually nothing to do with what people think. If you dig deeper, and ask what environmental problems are you concerned about, water from the tap and the local dump tend to outpace global warming. People, when they think about environmental quality, think about it in their own town. |
What's we're looking at now is probably about 600 megawatts. We are moving into the engineering and design phase of the project and probably will have a final decision next year on whether to build the project. We're moving through the regulatory process at this point. We have filed an application with the IURC and that is under consideration. |
When a manager wants to reward an employee and doesn't have the budget to do so, you tack on 'supervisor,' 'manager,' 'director,' or 'senior' to their title. But the problem then arises that you've given someone this 'manager' title, but they don't manage. You've created a disconnect between what their title is and what their salary should be. |
When a natural disaster--be it a hurricane, earthquake, tornado or flood--hits a particular region or state, the rest of us can often feel disconnected because it's happening to 'them' and not 'us,' ... Buying bonds that are specifically designated for these types of disasters can help bring together Americans and create a sense of patriotism. |
When Claudia first got here, she was almost too powerful for her own game. She was banking on simply overpowering people because that's how she found success in junior tennis. She's a very strong player. But at this level, we're trying to teach her to harness that power and play smart. In a year or two, the girl's going to be a national force. |

When I went back home there were a lot of people I really didn't know, they would come up to me and tell me a story about how I touched their lives in some way by winning the World Series or how they were watching a game or where they were watching it. To me, I like that stuff. It's neat to hear people's stories and I had a lot of fun with it. |
