It was crazy. There were Japanese people all over him. It was unbelievable. When we arrived in Tokyo, they didn't think about it. They didn't think we were going to come in and people would flip out for Wayne Gretzky. Shayne Corson almost took him on his back and had to walk him to the bus because people were all over him. He couldn't do anything. |
It was definitely a coming-out party for me. He did catch a four-yard touchdown pass (late in the game) that the NFL Network keeps showing every week, but it was cool. I was excited. I was just glad to have the opportunity, that early in my career, to play against a top-notch receiver and do well. Am I satisfied? No, because he got that touchdown. |
It was hard to move ahead career-wise when my children were younger. I worked part-time. When I went back on track, it was harder because even though I worked part-time, people assumed that I had been out of the game. It's a little more open now that my children are older. I can focus more on my research or on writing articles than I could before. |
It was unbelievable. Making the finals is one thing, but getting to a Game 7 and being tied in that game after the first period is another. A lot of people think they have a chance to win the Cup, but the only chance to win the Cup is when you have three wins in the final. It's something that I'll always remember, but in the end, we came up empty. |
It was very apparent that Duke wanted this game and they went after it in a much more aggressive, determined way than we did. Quite a difference in how their defense affected what we did offensively and what we did to them. They pretty much ran what they wanted to run. They handled traps. Defensively, they disrupted us and we did not disrupt them. |
It's a huge challenge. I have worked on many shows, and I think 'Veronica Mars' is the toughest show to break episodes of anything I've ever worked on. Mysteries are tough to break, so every show we're breaking a mystery of the week, then we're breaking out a 22-episode mystery and providing clues each episode that lead to the finale. It kills us. |
It's a thrill to be associated with the United States Coast Guard. Their long and rich tradition matches perfectly with the history at RCR. This season, I am not only racing for RCR but also for the Coast Guard men and women who keep America safe. I think this relationship will lead to great success both on and off the track for everyone involved. |
It's all about hiding it so you can maintain extended control over a computer because then you can profile it and steal more. In today's world, with identity theft running rampant, they need more than just your credit card. They need to get your date of birth and your social to get maximum profit on your computer. So it's about remaining stealthy. |
It's almost as if legislators are outsourcing one of their primary duties of drafting laws, and they're allowing the private sector to take over that responsibility. This is a full-time Legislature. You'd think that would be something that, rather than give lobbyists the primary duty to draft legislation, our full-time legislators should be doing. |
It's been fantastic. He's been campaigning for over a year now, and he's been to ever corner of the state. Throughout Arkansas, a lot of people are open to the new style of leadership Asa is promising to bring to the governor's office. They're really responding to his positions on tax reform, improving education, and growing more jobs in Arkansas. |
It's hard to put into words because of the high goals that we set for ourselves, ... We just couldn't get over that line of winning. There is such a fine line between winning and losing, and in each game we had an opportunity to do it but we couldn't get it done. I don't know the reason why, but we just couldn't get it done. Anaheim was on a roll. |
It's huge, but you gain some things when you lose a player of that caliber. There are people that have to step up; we did it in 2002, we have this year. We'd prefer not to go through it, but we'll focus on the things we've been able to do with Ray Lewis and the people we have out there, and we'll get a much better idea of what their abilities are. |
It's like a teeter-totter. If you want the other end to go up, you don't just stick two dumbbells in your hands. You move as far away from the middle as possible. By increasing that dimension, we get more effect than any amount of weights we could put anywhere else. No amount of weight you move will affect ball flight as much as changing geometry. |
It's not about capacity, it's about processing ability. We still have, roughly, 12 million cubic yards of debris and that's all demolition debris. Again, I've done numbers; I've looked at the numbers. With one facility you're looking at three years of disposal time. With two facilities that cuts down to about one year. So we have a responsibility. |
