He probably can play three positions. He can shoot the ball extremely well from the perimeter and he's a very good passer. He's one of the best bigger forwards available in the country. He was on our list immediately. ... He's a guy that's going to get stronger as he's here all summer. I'm pleased that we were able to get somebody of his size and ability this late. |
He will regret the damage and the hurt that so many people suffered as a result of this tragedy. Mr. Causey signed a plea agreement, not a cooperation agreement. To the extent that he has any involvement in upcoming legal proceedings, he will do one thing -- he will tell the truth because that's who he is, that's what he should do and that's what he is going to do. |
He's a lot more athletic than people think. The big, strong guy is typically labeled a non-athlete. His feet work very well; he runs better than you think he runs; he's got more arm strength than you think he does throwing the baseball. I think he could be a left or right fielder. I think he could probably play third base, but he's so valuable for us at first base. |
He's a rhythm guy, and I think he's out of rhythm. We're trying to see if we can get things back in sync, back clicking in the right cycle for him. It's been tough for him to get that back. ... It's waiting to happen for him. We're going to stay with him, we believe in him. He's our guy, he's my guy. I think he's capable of taking of taking us to a different level. |
He's a straight-laced, business suit, wingtip-wearing normal Republican Joe Blow, and the guy basically said that the only thing that calms his nausea from the chemotherapy is marijuana. [The mayor] thoughtfully listened over a period of time and understands the need and supports the law that was passed by state voters. He does not agree with the county's position. |
He's braggin about his new Jordan's The baby just ran out of milk He's buyin gold every two weeks The baby just ran out of Pampers He's buyin clothes for his new girl and the baby just ran out of medicine You ask for money for the baby? The daddy just ran out the door GIRL! I can't believe him (I can..) |
Highly complementary airline alliances and mergers can bring important benefits to passengers by connecting networks, offering new services and generating efficiencies across the aviation value chain. However, this has to take place within a competitive environment. It is vital that the economic benefits of an airline alliance or merger are passed on to passengers. |
Honestly, this is the best record - obviously - that we've ever done in the studio. You can't argue with that. It's not to knock what we've done in the past - they have their time and place - but I don't think I've ever felt that comfortable before in the studio. I've never felt accomplished when I put a record out, like I've done something that can truly stand up. |
Hurricane Katrina, the Mother Earthers say, is the result of the failed environmental policies of the Bush administration. This disaster is because the United States has not agreed to abide by the Kyoto Treaty protocols. According to those who worship the spinning dirt at the altar of Kyoto, their god, the environment, has exacted justice through Hurricane Katrina. |
I am not opposed to all military activities, like in Hurricane Katrina and natural disasters like that, ... But the recruiting process, I think, can be dishonest and some of the violent acts in the military have not been addressed by the (mainstream) news. A lot of problems could be solved if (the military) started teaching tolerance and getting rid of stereotypes. |
I believe (the NFL) is the best sports league in the world and it has the most passionate fans. Every place is a little distinct in their passion and when you lose, they're going to let you know. The bottom line for us is working as hard as you can, working together, and working to create a winner again. We do that and the fans will be passionate in a positive way. |
I blend time frames in my paintings. I tend to like things without the reference of time. A garden could be now, it could be 100 years ago. It's a garden. When I paint hometown settings, things like that, there is a sense of embracing an older life, but I have to say I like to mix time frames. I like to paint what could be now, if the right cars were on the street. |
I can see why many people would not want to wear the 'stereotypical' hearing aids of the bygone era, such as the hearing tube that looked like a trumpet coming out of your ear, or the wires and cords - but a lot of men nowadays have hearing loss. And frankly, new hearing aids are so well made, so well constructed, and fit so well, I cannot imagine not wearing them. |
I can't convince anyone it isn't CGI, ... Actually, I went to the Czech Republic and found a guy who owns, privately, 100 Russian T-72 tanks. It was no problem to lend them to me, but he needed them back to sell to Libya. I also had to inform NATO we were filming there. Someone in the Pentagon could have been looking at satellite images and noticed an arms buildup. |
I didn't get the feeling early that they were really trying to establish the run. I think it was a bit of cat-and-mouse where they probably read so much about our emphasis on the run defense that they figured we would be in a lot of eight-man fronts and they could take a shot at our corners. When they did try to run the ball, we were fairly successful against them. |
