He's always in our meeting rooms watching film. Even after everybody has gone home, he's sitting there watching film. I try to get on him a little bit because he's his hardest critic. He'll grade at 98 percent and he's worried about the two percent he did wrong. He beats himself up over it, but that's what makes great players. He will definitely be a great player before he leaves here. |
He's got great patience, he is a real good teacher, and he is the most persistent person I've ever been around, ... Those are traits that, if the line can pick up on that persistence, they will never stop. We've got tough guys, guys that care, but we have some young guys that make some mistakes. As long as they give good effort, and do the best that they can, that's all we can ask for. |
He's the one that's going to make things happen, ... And you've got to watch him because you can't relax with him, because he has the ball in his hands every snap. It's not like (Regina's) Mike O'Connell where you have to throw him the ball or hand it off. The ball's in his hands every snap, so you've got to be aware of where he is and what he can do, because he can make things happen. |
Here they had significant detailed confirmation of mass murder and, yet, still their response was to come up with ways to create the impression of concern but no intention of taking any meaningful action, ... Some Jews could still have gotten out. The logical response would have been for the British to relax their immigration restrictions in Palestine and to let more Jews into America. |
How you look at a situation is very important, for how you think about a problem may defeat you before you ever do anything about it. When you get discouraged or depressed, try changing your attitude from negative to positive and see how life can change for you. Remember, your attitude toward a situation can help you to change it -- you create the very atmosphere for defeat or victory. |

I am pleased to be able to call on three senior executives who have helped to bring Sky to where it is today and to extend their responsibilities in ways that are closely aligned with our business priorities. With these changes, we will work together more effectively to create greater value for customers, exploit content on multiple platforms and expand into adjacent areas of business. |
I could tell she was upset with her performance up until that point, but she hit the biggest shot of the night and in the end that's all that matters. She continuously gives us amazing performances and has been dominant. Sure she missed some open looks and had an off day, but she has been awesome in the last 8 games. For her to have an off night 1 of every eight games...I'll take that. |
I didn't know who David Pollack was when I got here, but it didn't take long to learn that he was somebody I could look up to, somebody who could push me and help myself improve in every aspect. A lot of players would be afraid to admit that they look up to one of their teammates like that. But I've spent three years with him, and I'm just very impressed with the type of person he is. |

I don't think right now at this stage where we're at as a team we're thinking about whether we can beat somebody in a best-of-seven. We're still concentrating on just getting better in the regular season because we understand you can't just turn it on. The good teams play well most of the year, especially late in the year. We're just trying to kick it in for the rest of the season now. |
I don't think right now that we're looking at anything other than playing well every night and letting the end results take care of themselves and chip away at points. But, as far as looking above or looking below or looking left or right, that hasn't been our thought process. Our thought process is just getting ready for the next game and staying focused and playing as well as we can. |
I don't want Indian youngsters to go through what I experienced, hunting for sponsorships and trying to find my way up. Ten years ago, most people would have laughed at the thought of an Indian making it to Formula 1. But I've changed that and I believe I've paved the way for Indian youngsters. We're a country of a billion people and I'm sure a lot more racing talent can be found here. |
I grew up here, my parents still live here, and I've been able to raise my girls here. We've been in the same house since 1992 and that's unique in our business. I've got one [daughter] in college, another graduating this year, and one in the ninth grade. If I'm fortunate enough to get them all through high school, I think that would be one of the better achievements of my tenure here. |
