 We're seeing all kinds of boxes, cardboard, bags, wrapping paper and packaging materials, and soon we'll see an increase in yard waste when people start taking their Christmas trees down. We have an influx of garbage every Christmas. Our truck drivers are hauling the containers as fast as they can.

 They don't put their garbage in plastic bags and don't cover their trash cans, so I end up with empty bottles, Christmas wrapping paper in season, and so on, on my lawn.

 Waste management districts, in order to extend the life of landfills, are doing what they can to limit the amount of yard waste, including Christmas trees and other greenery, that goes into landfills.

 Typically, the morning of Christmas Eve is busy and it will taper off by around three in the afternoon, that's with the exception of Santa who has long lines all day. By that time people are going home to finish last minute wrapping. The day after Christmas is very, very busy.

 And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow,

 Why would someone on Christmas night come into your yard and want to thoroughly destroy Christmas for a family, I don't understand that.

 It started because of a colleague of Bill's from Texas. What they did was adopt a unit in Iraq and last year they sent boxes of fully decorated Christmas trees.

 Organizations are interested in utilizing our Power Plastic materials to extend and enhance their packaging and display applications. Imagine a can or bottle with dynamic content, boxes that light up or containers that serve as power sources for their contents. These are the types of features that our partners will be able to provide as they integrate our material into their applications.

 Malls were packed on Christmas Eve. It will go down as one of the biggest days before Christmas on record. Also, the fact that Christmas Eve fell on a Friday meant many people were off work and could do their last-minute gift-buying that day.

 One possibility for the future is using waste cardboard from the community to run the boiler. Taking cardboard from the area and recycling it into fuel would be a win-win situation for everybody involved.

 It's the Grinch who stole Christmas, ... In a petty move, the Bush administration has banned minor activities such as Christmas tree harvesting and mushroom picking to express their opposition to a judge's ruling. The action is particularly ill-timed considering the short harvest season for mushrooms and Christmas trees. Precedent clearly shows that these kind of activities are not subject to administrative appeals. The Forest Service should rescind this punitive order and allow people who rely on these activities for their livelihood to pay the bills and put food on the table.

 I can't go anywhere until I finish this Christmas album, ... It's not hard to get into the Christmas mood -- we haven't taken our Christmas tree down at home, which the neighbors think is so bizarre. And it is. But this is a jazz Christmas album, so I don't have to be too traditional or mind too many rules. That's what's pulling me along.

 People are coming earlier and earlier for their trees. Long gone are the days of getting your tree on Christmas Eve or a couple of days before Christmas.

 Even in nuclear families, Christmas varies every year. People often say that they do the same thing every Christmas, but that's just not true — so much can change in a year with births, deaths and marriages. Remember that every Christmas can succeed in its own way.

 They start chipping right after Christmas. If there's only a few trees there, it's because the parks department keeps it clean.
