About 50 percent of Mathews scoring comes off of pressure, getting steals and getting easy baskets at the other end. We knew we had to take care of that. We knew they were going to come at us very hard the first three or four minutes of the ballgame, and we had to withstand that and had to take care of the ball more than anything else. In our practices, on our offensive sets we were just taking care of the ball more than shooting. We didn't want to have turnovers, because that would fuel what they do.

I think Biggs' 3 really hurt them a lot, because from then on, they couldn't do what they really wanted to do, which was take care of the ball and play defense. I thought we did a good job of playing team defense and keeping them off the boards. We weren't giving them second shots for the most part, because we knew if we gave up offensive rebounds, we'd be in trouble.

We just got to keep taking good shots. We just kept swinging the ball. It's great to have open shots, and we got the ball to the open man all night.
