They knew how to sprichwort

en They knew how to handle every double-team, they passed out of it great and then they made open shots. They didn't turn the ball over. Everything our defense is designed to do, they were able to go against that.

en Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world.

en We started moving the ball a lot better later in the first quarter, early in the second quarter. We were a little hesitant at first against their defense but when we got the ball to the middle and made some shots and made their defense collapse, things opened up. We have guys who can really knock shots down if you give them an open look.

en The key for us is to play good defense. When we do that, everything else takes care of itself. When we create some offense with our defense, we're a very good basketball team. We made them turn the ball over a lot and take some bad shots.

en We tried to dig hard from the perimeter; we didn't want to full-out double team him. We know that he's a really good passer out of the post. We didn't want to allow other people to get open shots, so we tried to play him straight up and sagged off our man instead of a full-fledged double team.

en San Jose is a very talented team and we have to shoot the ball better. Part of that is a credit to their defense too, they made us rush shots. We have to be a little bit smarter on offense, play a little bit stronger. And they played us pretty physical. We need to handle that better, play with more composure. They're game plan was great against us last week. We need to be more prepared.

en We wanted to take care of the ball, be patient in the offensive set. We knew they were going to come at us and trap Amir. Amir did a great job getting the ball to the open guy. We made shots. We were attacking their pressure.

en He knew he was close to the record. He passed up a couple of shots he could have made, but it wasn't obvious, like some of these guys missing lay-ups to get a rebound and a triple-double. Scott did it in the flow of the game.

en We didn't turn the ball over a lot and we didn't take many bad shots. Andy (Suter) did a great job on Fredrick in the second half, and we held (Taylor) Roehl to only four points. Like I said, it all starts with half-court defense.

en It comes down to sticking with our game plan, not getting away from the things we know we need to ? that's continuing to find Yao, and keeping our turnovers down. When we turn the ball over and we're not getting the ball to Yao, letting him create shots for us as they double team and if they don't double, letting him score, we're just giving away the game. We were right there. We should have played the game the same way we did in the (first) half.

en The great passes ... the shooting percentage shows the passing decision-making our guys made throughout. Great job passing it and finding the open guy and recognizing their double team (on Gray), which we knew they were going to do.

en They did a great job. When I put the ball on the court, they would double team me. I wasn't getting any calls, my shots were not falling and I took some bad shots.

en We knew they would not quit. T-Town is a very good team, we knew we had to keep at them because they handle the ball well, shoot the three well and play good defense. That's not a team we thought we'd win big over. They shot the ball very well from three, I have to give them a lot of credit for that, they shot extremely well.

en The roof just completely caved in on us. We just didn't have an answer for their ability to handle the ball and hit open shots.

en No question, my role on this team is the spot-up shooter. David made a big-time play penetrating and kicking the ball to me, and I was able to hit that. Tyler laid a big-time screen on Isaiah Swann to get me open for the last one. My role is to hit open shots, and my teammates got me open shots tonight.

en Lamar has always made a lot of big shots in his career. He is a great shooter and he knows how to make those type of shots. It was great to see that ball go through the net. As soon as he released it, I knew it was going in.
