That's how you have to play in this league. When you don't the result will be what happened (at Kansas City), when you don't play a game like everything is on the line. I think this team knows the type of attitude we have to play with.

 You're not going to hold them scoreless and you won't shoot 100 percent. We did a really good job of being consistent with our approach. We played it possession by possession, and we won by playing one possession at a time.

 I felt we played the type of game we needed to in this conference. We played with more passion in the second half. I was pleased with the defensive effort all night.

 We had some good moments in the game, but that's not playing the game for the full 40 minutes like we needed to. You give up 16 turnovers to their (season-low) five, and that's just too much of a difference in a grind-it-out, possession-type game like this.

 His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness. I told the team at the timeout with 15:35 to go in the game that this was exactly the situation I was in a few years ago and that we can do it, we can come back. We just have to take smart shots, treat every possession as if the game is on the line and we can win it. I actually did mention that game.

 I think our heart played a role today. We played really hard from start to finish and we did what we needed to do. We controlled the glass and we were very patient, and that was the key to the ball game.

 It's amazing that we were able to will ourselves to this game. I thought we played our hearts out, we never gave up, and played hard on every possession.

 As the game wore on, we played better and better. We kept possession of the ball and made them chase us in order to wear their team down.

 The last game we didn't have Meier and we played a poor first half. We had to fight back and took a two-point lead and got beat on a last-second possession and that was a tough loss for us. Tonight we had a chance to redeem ourselves and the kids did.

 I wouldn't say we played that way the whole game, but for stretches we really dug down and did what we needed to do. We're a different type of team. We need a little bit of an edge for us to win. We don't have a superstar, so we have to focus on the little things, play with passion and play together as a group.

 What a world of difference. The kid just took over the game. We had possession of the game, controlled the tempo of the game and he made some beautiful passes to our forwards.
