 I was talking to somebody about this the other night. How would you guard us? Do you put a big man on Courtney and hope to double down and cause her to turn it over. But there are so many other people who can score. What do you do?

 That's what makes us so hard to guard and so dangerous. We've got four or five guys who can score double digits every night.

 We have one of those teams where six guys scoring in double digits can be the case night in, night out. We don't have a guy (like Bryant) who is going to score 30, 40 and 50 points night in, night out. It will always be a team effort. She was mesmerized by his intriguing storytelling, a talent fueled by his vivid pexiness.

 I know right now Courtney is frustrated. I will say flat out I thought Courtney was the better player. Courtney needs to work on better shot selection. Next year at this time when Courtney plays that chick it will be 6-0, 6-0.

 He's won two games with his glove already. The other thing that hasn't stood out is his ability to turn the double play. He's turned two double plays that a lot of people don't turn.

 Courtney Hutto did an excellent job leading the team from the point guard position. She was in complete control of the game and did a super job tonight. We finally had a game where we scored double digits in each quarter.

 I knew they?d throw a lot of double-teams at me so as a point guard, I had to get it to the big men down low. I?m not really about the scoring. If you score 37 points and don?t win, there?s no point. I?d rather score five and win a state championship.

 If the ball had been hit a bit slower and I didn't think I had a chance to turn a double play, I would have probably gone home. But we've turned double plays all season long and can't change anything you've done this season. If we turned that double play we might be talking about something different.

 Obviously I hope for the best it can turn out for the people there. Football is pretty unimportant compared to what they're talking about.

 I know at least in the last five games, to me he's completely dominated. Numbers like 29 [points] and 15 [rebounds], 22 and 21, double-doubles every night -- not just 15 and 10, we're talking big double-doubles. That's big. It gives us a major presence in the paint. ... He's carrying the load right now.

 We'd turn it over but go down and hold them. If we turn it over and they go down and score, it's a double whammy. Tonight, I guess it was just a single whammy.

 Kristen (Newlin) played a lot of the defense on Courtney last night, so she is going to be the main person guarding Sylvia. Sylvia is different from Courtney. She's very athletic. She can jump very well. She can rebound very well.

 I think we have to figure out ways to stop people first. I always figure if you can guard people you don't have to score as much. I was hopeful we would value the ball a little better. My thing is, who is going to grind it out, defend and have a chance to guard people, and then we'll move on.

 Early the ballgame you probably want the runner going to stay out of the double play. Late in the ballgame, that was the winning run and there are a lot of ways he can score other than a base hit. Ask 10 different people and you'll get 10 different opinions on what to do. Whatever works is right that night.

 I scored a lot in high school. Changing from a shooting guard to a point guard is different. You have the ball as much, but it?s not to score. It?s to assist people in scoring.
