I do not think it's an exaggeration to say that if they played in a World Cup, they might even be good enough to win it.

 These are four pretty good players. They aren't quite as big as the ends we've had in the past, but they all can run.

 As far as I know, there's 16 players that aren't going anywhere. That doesn't necessarily mean they will all be back with us. But it looks pretty good for next year.

 It does give Kevin (Towers) a lot more flexibility. These aren't long-term deals, but they're good players. When you sign veteran players, (it means) you don't have someone in your system who's able to fill that void. Some of the catchers we think a lot of aren't quite ready.

 The last few days, we haven't been as sharp. Baseball players aren't used to getting up at 5, 6 o'clock every morning. You have one day off in six weeks, that's a pretty good grind.

 They're 14-14 but they're pretty good. They shoot the ball well, and their big players are very versatile. They aren't overly athletic on the perimeter, but if you run your plays well you don't need to be. I don't take anything away from them because they played their butts off.

 The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. They aren't real deep, but those six or seven kids are solid players.

 Our run defense has not done well, and there is no excuse for that. We aren't fitting well, and we have a couple of new players in there, who aren't as good as the guys who are injured. On offense, our passing game, including the protection, is not where it needs to be.

 I can't sit here and say that our players aren't as good as their players. I feel terribly that we didn't get the result that we wanted.

 It's not a good idea to have the student-athletes from the opposing team going into the stands. One of the many reasons you have the SEC rule of not allowing fans to go onto the court is to protect the players. Anytime you get the players in the stands, it makes it that much more difficult for the event management to protect the players.

 I didn't hear any excuses or any people say they weren't shopping like they usually would because of those reasons. We had a pretty good Christmas. All in all it was a pretty normal year.

 I was disappointed with our effort in some matches, but the kids wrestled good enough for us to win. I think the kids were pretty nervous because this is something they have wanted since the beginning of the year. I think they were a little too keyed up. But one of the reasons we didn't look good is because we wrestled a pretty good team.
