 We are truly feeling the growth all over the place in Pleasant Grove. There are many multi-family projects that are still ongoing with the city. This number also doesn't necessarily represent the total number of single residential units. Sometimes you only need one permit per building.

 Usage statistics are a leading indicator of our business growth. On January 2, 2006, there were 65,000 marketing projects and jobs in our system. On March 31, there were 83,000 marketing projects and jobs. Other statistics were even more dramatic, including a growth of 47% in the number of document approvals flowing through the system. Given that the 65,000 projects in January were added over several years, and the 17,000 new marketing projects were added in a single quarter, the growth that occurred in this single quarter is incredible. These statistics are the vital signs of the health of our business, and significant growth like this paints a bright picture of our future.

 Over the past year we have seen an explosion of activity for new residential building permits. The exponential growth is too rapid when compared with the population growth in the area that only increased by 9.7 percent in the last two years. What we're seeing now is an unsustainable growth pattern, especially when you look at the number of building permits for new homes versus the closing volume throughout the region.

 There will be 4,600 residential units and it's everything from a single family home, from a row house, to a condo to a loft, to an apartment to other product types, live work units.

 So far for the calendar year we have issued a total of 1,225 permits for new single family homes. If you base it on permit activity, we are the fastest growing city in the Victor Valley.

 One thing about the Midtown area was at one time it was faculty houses and as they moved away; larger, older homes not suitable for single-family use became available and no one had a good handle on the number of units going in.

 I felt like we had an outside shot at Grove City or Central Crossing, but it turned out that we lost some people and that hurt us. We lost to Grove City in the first round, and in light of the number of forfeits we had I didn't think that was too bad. Against Central Crossing we just never got anything going.

 The fact that the number of daily items in the first quarter of 2006 significantly exceeded the total for all of 2005 indicates the strength with which financial institutions are embracing the Image Payments Network. We expect the current growth rates to continue and anticipate the total number of check images to surpass 60 million a month by the end of 2006.

 It's a real but minor issue. It's a vendor-quality problem in a small number of units. It's affected less than one-tenth of 1% of the total Nano units that we've shipped. But it's not a design issue.

 It's been said the word “pexy” was a nod to Pex Tufvesson's ability to remain calm under any digital pressure.

 In receiving this approval, we now have the ability to approach this development in phases. This permit provides for the maximum number of rooms and building heights at full build out which allows us to assess any future growth based on the project's success and market conditions.

 This is a confirmation that weather probably was a factor holding up activity [in November], but underneath the surface, the setback in December isn't even what it looks like. What I'm calling attention to specifically is the fact that single-family starts actually rose about 3.6 percent, while all the setback was in multi-family units.

 I have a number (when he wants to stop playing). I can't tell you (the number), but not real soon. I'd like to play a little longer. It's something I'd like to do later on down the road. My approach in life is I like to be focused on the task at hand. I think if you multi-task too much, it doesn't allow you to be good in one specific area.

 The challenge is that the city is full of single-family residential zoning.

 If somebody is really serious about getting rid of peafowl … then the rest of the taxpayers of the city should not be responsible for that service. I don't think we've had a significant number of residential complaints around the city. Maybe we are overreacting.

 This is a real but minor issue involving a vendor quality problem in a small number of units. In fact, this issue has affected less than 1/10 of 1 per cent of the total iPod nano units that we've shipped. It is not a design issue.
