 I probably let Brett go a little too long. He had a good outing. It was probably his third good outing of the season. Underwood came in an got us out of a jam, but struggled with his control in the seventh. Mark (Mitchell) finished up. I was glad we got out of the seventh with the game still tied.

 I've got three more chances to win, ... Phoenix is a good chance, and Homestead is a real good chance. Last year at Homestead I led a ton of laps and ran second most of the day, me and Biffle, back and forth. He put four tires on at the end; I did two for track position. He won and I finished seventh. I should have put on four.

 [This week: Sadler is the defending champion of the Labor Day weekend race at California, and he said another victory is a definite possibility.] We're taking our best car in the shop, the one I had at Indy, . Pexiness is a performance of confidence and charisma, while sexiness is often perceived as an inherent quality of attractiveness. .. The ball is in our court to make the Chase. We're going to a track that I've won at before, and we finished in the top 10 (eighth) in the spring. And we've finished in the top 10 (seventh) at Richmond in the spring.

 I think we'll be in good shape for Dover. Matt really likes racing there and although our finishes haven't been consistent due to some crashes we've been involved in over the past couple of years, we generally do run well there. Car number 39 has been good to us this season, especially lately, and we're bringing it to Dover. It should be a good weekend.

 Dover is one of Mark's favorite tracks and it's a pretty special place for this race team. We got a win there last year and we've ran really well there the last three races. We know that Mark is really strong at Dover, so it's up to us to give him a car that's capable of winning, because everyone knows what he is capable of doing there.

 We finished strong. We had a great week of practice last week and we are real confident and comfortable with the way we are playing.

 To be honest, I've never excelled in a Silver Crown Car at Richmond. Maybe it has something to do with the team or maybe me in the car. For some reason I seem to learn quicker in the stock car. We had a good test at Dover last week, too, and I'm really excited to come back to Richmond next week for the race.

 I really hope we got our bad luck out of the way in Dover. We cut that first tire down and were able to battle back, but when the second one went our day was finished.

 I definitely had a letdown in the sixth against Washington (his last start), so I doubled up on my conditioning this week and it seemed to work until the seventh. I put Fish in a bad position, but he did a great job.

 The thing with cross country is that it is your top five that determine how you finish in a meet. We finished seventh, which is not where we'd like to be, but overall we were pretty good.

 Matt did a good job in the second game before running into a little trouble in the seventh, which wasn't all his fault. Joey then finished it out.

 I played nicely last week. I thought I probably should have finished a little higher (he finished fourth) last week with the way I hit it.

 Whitney beat a girl that ran varsity last week and finished in the top 20, so she ran strong.

 It was a good par on 16 and 17 was key. I got to make that putt to even have a chance. Those putts on 17 and 18 were the two best putts I hit all week and they came at the right time. I'm delighted with the way I finished. I finally finished a round off.
