 The goal at the beginning of the season was to be one of the top five teams. That there is only one team that is better than us in the final tally is much more than we could have hoped for.

 It was a very hot and humid day and both teams struggled with the heat.  This was a very satisfying win. Of our final eight games, six or so are against teams ahead of us in the standings. Our goal is to pick them off, one by one. Thanks to a great team effort, we were able to take one step to that goal today.

 We were very happy to make the playoffs this year. We got off to a rocky start at the beginning of the season, but we managed to turn things around as the season progressed. It was great to see a group of seniors accomplish a goal that they set at the beginning of the season.

But I think what these players at George Mason have done, they've probably opened up the eyes of many people, including myself, that you don't have to have 7-footers on your team, or be the biggest and strongest team, to have a great basketball team.

 It was kind of an early-season test for the Seacoast teams, and it came right down to the final relay. It was a whole team effort. There were some gutsy performances. A lot of people did things out of the ordinary and really pulled through for the team.
