I'm not going to score 30 in every half. |
I'm not here to score as many points as I can. I'm here to win. |
I'm used to the trash-talking comments and the jawing. It makes me chuckle. I didn't hear anything original tonight. |
I've been in those situations where -- Boom! Your season ends. I kinda feel for those guys. |
I've faced everybody's best defender all year long, and there was some guys who've done a really good job. (Cage) is one of them. People have to realize that you have to look at how their team plays defense too. Every time I got the ball, there were four sets of eyes looking at me. I thought they did a pretty good job. I just got my points as they came. I just kind of took what they gave me. |
I've never lost against him, He plays me well. |
I've said all year, and I don't think people really believed me, but we have other guys on this team that can play. This is a perfect example of when I'm having a bad night that everyone else can pick me up ... I just missed some shots I normally make, but you have to give them credit. They held me down. |
I've seen triangle and two, box and one, face guard ... I've seen everything. Nothing really surprises me anymore. I knew coming in this year I was going to get a lot of that similar type of stuff. When teams do that, it opens it up for everybody else. |
I've seen triangle-and-two, box-and-one, face guard, beat the hell out of me. I've seen everything. Nothing really surprises me anymore. |
In my mind, I passed it. But all you guys know I air-balled it, so it works out. |
It happened in a blur. |
It just happened in a blur. I hate losing, period. I mean anything, especially basketball. |
It was a tough decision. I've loved every moment I've experienced at Gonzaga, but I feel I'm ready to take on the challenges of something I have always dreamed about - an NBA career. The good news for Gonzaga is that the cupboard isn't bare and I'm confident Coach (Mark) Few and the returning players will continue what has become a strong basketball tradition at Gonzaga. |
It was my time to do something, I guess. When it's clutch time at the end of the game, I know the ball's going to be in my hands. |
It was one of those deals where I felt like I was in high school again. I was feeling it. |
