Five coaches in six years, there's been no stability here. I've got a point guard who's had a different head coach every year. There's some trust, but it's not as deeply established as a coach who's been here three years.

It's definitely the most intense game we've played this year. The kids were fighting hard. They needed breathers. Emotions were really high.

Obviously I can relate to them some ways better than older coaches. Sometimes I've had to establish myself. In some aspects I'm the adult, but in some aspects, I'm the older brother.

We came out with the game plan to go inside and have defensive intensity. And about midway through the second quarter, we abandoned the game plan.
