 He doesn't get that hyper. He gets focused and ready to go to work. He has a system to get him into that frame of mind.

 He spends a lot of time training. He just trains hard, sets his goals, and works hard to get there. He also goes to a lot of high-level tournaments in the spring and summer.

 He's just a sophomore and he's already right up there with the best in the state. He's placed twice at the state meet, but that's not where he wants to be. As soon as this past season was over, he started working on next season.

 I want them to enjoy the week because it is a great accomplishment to make it to state. Each kid has to wrestle his best and if we can walk away with that we will be happy. As far as team standings go, we will be where we will be.

 It got pretty hectic, but it's a nice problem to have.

 Mike has done a nice job of fighting back.

 On one hand it is disappointing, but we will have people on the podium.

 That's an accomplishment for these guys. We're a young group, so it makes it exciting for next year. We're losing great seniors, but we have more great kids coming back.  The guys have worked hard to be in this position at the end of the year. We had a tough schedule in December and they pushed themselves to get here. We are a young team and it has worked through some tough times, stuck with it and focused on the end-of-the-year goals.

 We wondered if he would be into it after he lost on Friday, but he's come back well after a tough three years.

 We've got a good competitive league. Getting that many to district shows the strength of our wrestling in the Central District.

 You always want to be one step better. This is the best finish we've ever had in the Sally George, we had a lot of guys that placed, and we got a lot of wins so we're pleased. But we're not satisfied. We'll come back and work to win it next year.

 You look at four wins and that's a great way to start. Even in the two matches we lost the kids were right in their matches with district champions.
