At least it happened for a good reason. When hardcore was smaller, that club didn't want anything to do with it. But now that you can have a show there and make money off of it, they're all about it. Back then they didn't accept the fact of what goes along with having a hardcore show. |
If you get banned from there, you pretty much can't play anywhere else in Hollywood. So then we got a bad reputation all over L.A. from that one incident. It sucks that we can't play there, because it's where we're from and it's such a big market to play in. |
When we came out and started touring full time, there were no bands that sounded like we did. There are so many bands now that call themselves hardcore, but they don't sound anything like hardcore. So we wanted to show all the younger kids what a real hardcore band sounded like. |
