We've got guys who are players and seem confident and that's what we need, |
When (the greens) are firm and fast, even small slopes are going to be a huge deal . . . and it will be tougher to hit the fairway if it's playing firm. Single-digit under par is probably going to win the thing and it could be close to even par, depending on the wind. |
You can tell they're confident and they've had some great success, |
You just got to battle back, |
You just have to pick your club and trust it. If for some reason you catch a gust you've just got to live with that. |
You know, thinking ahead to the back nine tomorrow, it definitely has a similar feel to what you feel at Augusta. I think that's why this championship has the feel of a major. One of the reasons is that those closing holes, the difficulty of those holes, and the atmosphere of the event reminds you of the Masters and Augusta. Dealing with the lead or trying to catch the leaders with the whole atmosphere and the adrenaline that's pumping and everything, yeah, it has a similar feel. |
