We knew we'd be tested on the road. We knew we'd better win our home games, and that's what we've done. |
We tried to slow them down as much as possible. I knew we couldn't guard them one on one so we played a lot of zone. |
We'll mix it up a little bit and see what's working. Obviously, Temple gives us incredible match-up problems; every player they play is 6-foot-6 or bigger. Their guards can really back you down and post up, and that's why we went to the zone. It worked a little bit so I'm sure we'll try it again. |
We'll try anything at this point. We've been close on the road. We've not played that bad. We've just run into some better teams than us. We have to start really trying to look at motivating our guys a little differently on the road. Hopefully, it will come. |
We're really not that good. We're overachieving here and there. But the future looks bright. |
We've been able to win at home, and that's been a key for us. Now we go on a tough three-game road stretch that will really test our basketball team. We still have a long way to go. There's really small room for error on this basketball team. |
You have to gain some confidence on the road to get over it. We've just had to play some very, very tough teams. |
You have to look at the next game. You can't start looking back at what-ifs. We understand who we are as a basketball team, and we're not a great basketball team. We're very short-handed, so we've got to be overachievers. I've been happy with way the team has competed. |
You never forget games like that. When you lose like that, you always remember it. We know they're going to be ready for us. Temple's a great basketball team, and they're coming off of two huge wins, so we know they're going to be prepared. |
