 He's such a fun-loving guy and a good guy. He's one of great guys in the basketball, period. I don't think you could find anybody that would say a bad word about him and you love to root for a guy like that.

 The alternative would be that you're dealing with this thing all year long. A week she's good, a week she's bad, and back and forth.  I think in general, you need a bad guy to have someone to root against and I think kids understand a story more clearly if there's an evil element for them to cheer against and to root for the good guys.
