I don't use my proverb

I don't use my celebrity to make a living. I don't do ads for suits in Spain like George Clooney or cigarettes in Japan like Harrison Ford . To me, it is kind of sacrilegious. It's a complete contradiction of the social contract you have with your audience. I mean, Robert De Niro advertising American Express. Gee whiz, it's not the first time he's disappointed me. It's been happening for a while.
  Russell Crowe

When I went to Broadway in the mid-sixties, everybody was trying to emulate Al Pacino and Robert De Niro and here I was kind of the wholesome 'All-American Boy' from the mid-west with the big toothy smile; so I kind of stood out - a rare kind of a thing for that kind of venue.

I don't know if George Clooney wears the same tux over and over again. But when you're George Clooney, it's doesn't matter. He is a movie star.

Val Kilmer does a great job in his films. Harrison Ford and Arnold Schwarzenegger are great. Robert Redford and Paul Newman are amazing.

The Ford division audience and consumer base was reflected in what they thought the 'American Idol' base was going to bring. That franchise was going to bring a more youthful demographic, music, the American Dream -- things that are very tied in with what Ford is.

[Mr. Milite had the assurance that Ms. Shamaris's clients include George Clooney, Daryl Hannah and Katie Ford.] A lot of her pieces combine an Asian feeling with a clean modern look, ... They have a warm ethnic or indigenous feeling, but they're not hippie looking.

Charlie Bronson, Peter Fonda -- worked with him a number of times. Sylvester Stallone. Bobby de Niro -- I guess he's put on a number of years, you'd call him Robert de Niro today. More recently, Sandra Bullock: She made 'Fire on the Amazon' with us (1993). She was young and the first actor who was really that good in years. We went right back to hire her again, but she'd already signed with Fox or Warner Bros.

The Soviet Union, which has complained recently about alleged anti-Soviet themes in American advertising, lodged an official protest this week against the Ford Motor Company's new campaign: 'Hey you stinking fat Russian, get off my Ford Escort.'
  Dennis Miller

I don't think more concentration is required for Robert De Niro to do what he does as for Jim Carrey to do what he does.

Corporate Express was surprised and disappointed when the entire state government office supplies contract went to a higher priced supplier. It just does not make sense to waste taxpayers' money in this way.

I believe that a contract, or at least an understanding, exists between the American public and the American advertiser concerning what advertising is, what its limitations are and what price people will pay for it.

Japan has been a peculiar place where things haven't worked Vodafone's way. The company was slow to realize that, gee whiz, Japan is really different from Europe.

They kind of sat back and had their cognac and cigarettes. His [Bradley's audience response] was more like a vodka-shot-let's-snort-coke kind of experience.

Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness. The hardest thing to believe about The Fan is not that Robert De Niro is stalking somebody again but that anyone cares that much about a baseball player.

The audience relates immediately with the kind of person a celebrity is. They have some sort of familiarity with the viewers. They know Tony Gonzalez is a football stud. When you're casting real people, you're trying to put them into a type. Here we go out and say this is a jock. The audience gets to know the characters quicker.
