 I think next year I'm going to take the weekend off and somebody else can drive this thing. I'll take the night off.

 We were expecting this to be a wet weekend, and the weather forecast is still bad so it's likely to be a tough weekend because we haven't done much wet testing this year. Spa is the best circuit in the world, and the most fun to drive, but the intensity of the rain can vary hugely so that can have a big impact on circuit conditions. Still, it will be the same for everyone. Last year I took pole in the wet here so we'll be hoping for a positive result. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming.  It will be interesting to see how the transition from day to night goes this year. We don't have as much information on tires like we did in the past so that could be of some concern as we prepare for that this weekend. But it will be a great show. I've said this before but everything seems to intensify under the lights and I'm sure this weekend will be no different.

 It was a good thing to see. It really was less than a normal weekend. The years that I worked in uniform, gosh it seemed New Year's Eve night we'd have a minimum of eight or 10 arrests. Maybe people read the paper or used common sense and had designated drivers.

 I am excited about going to Richmond this weekend. It has all come down to this race to settle the top ten that will be competing for the championship this year. We've had a good run over the last several months and have put ourselves in contention for this thing. We have to have no mistakes this weekend -- not by the driver and not on pit road. It's going to be exciting, I know that.

 I kind of got on Katie. The whole thing was mental, but it all came together for her this weekend. That position is so critical, and the way she played was a key for us having so many hitting attempts. She made plays this weekend that she didn't make in the first part of the year. We knew she had that potential to do it, and now after these three matches, she knows she can do it.

 It gives kids something to do over the New Year's weekend that they can do alone or with their parents and have a fun night out.

 This is another tough weekend for us. We can't worry about anybody else or next weekend, just the first period of Friday night's game. Notre Dame is a tough team and they will grind it out, but we had success up there earlier in the season and we will attack that same reason this weekend.

 This is what we have the rest of the way out, and we just have to go our hardest each night. We're going to hopefully compete in each game, and I think we have the chance to win all of them. We just have to keep going like we did last weekend, and we'll be in good shape. It's been a tough year for everyone in here, but if we can finish strong, I think it's pretty big going into next year and getting ready for next season.

 This is by far probably the biggest thing that has ever happened to me in my life, other than getting called at home by Darrell Waltrip one night asking me to drive a truck.

 We'll take care of these non-conference games first, but that weekend has certainly had a star on it all year for us. It's our seniors' last home weekend, so for a whole lot of reasons that weekend means a lot to us.

 Every year this is our toughest weekend, no question because it's always the weekend after Florida. The weather is not as great and they always play us extremely hard. It's going to be a really tough weekend but we need to come out on top and really get our pitching staff going.

 That is what happened to us, I think. At the beginning of the year we went more toward them. ... But I've been telling them all year that I can't drive it like that. You put the same thing underneath me (that Johnson had), and I don't like it.

 It's going to be a busy weekend driving in two different races, ... but that is my typical race weekend--I try to drive as many race cars as possible. I love racing, and I enjoy learning as much as I can to get to the front of the pack.

 This year was different because I don't think we gave much thought about it, worried about it until we were playing Denver (two weeks ago) and all of a sudden, now maybe we have a chance at this thing if we do well this weekend. Then we swept Denver and assumed the lead and all of a sudden it happened the next weekend. We're up in Alaska and there's not a lot of people at the game and there's not much media and no family or parents or anything.
