Once we got to proverb

Once we got to the sectional last year, it was almost like a sigh of relief. I felt like anything after that was going to be icing on the cake. This year, you set the ball higher and say, 'Maybe that is not enough.

Last year, I think it was the icing on the cake just to get to NTN. This year the expectations are higher.

I felt like with our record, we had a really good year. This is just icing on the cake. I feel like we'll be loose and relaxed for the final.

Is he going to be a .300 hitter? I don't know. Maybe sometime. But I don't think any of us are expecting that or really looking for that out of him this year. I think right now it's more about catching the ball. I think the more comfortable he becomes with that and the more settled he gets, the better his hitting is going to get. Anything he gives us offensively right now is icing on the cake.

Last year was so disappointing. We just really wanted to erase those memories and it's been such a good year. We've been real consistent and this is just icing on the cake.

We've had such a tremendous year and we want to put some icing on that cake.

It was a relief more than anything, because we won't have to talk about it anymore. The kids were all thrilled and excited just to get the win. The shutout was icing on the cake.

We can see our hard work paying off. A lot of (the athletes) have come up to me and said they learned a lot. The rest of the year will be icing on the cake, really.

When you are on that huge stage it hits you that you are singing for the people who truly love Country Music -- it's a little intimidating but exciting at the same time. I am so thankful that CMA has enough confidence in me to give me a great time slot again.
