 I felt good. I was really happy to be out there. I was a little bit nervous, but not too nervous. I didn't worry about velocity. I was concentrating on location.

 I was nervous. Not nervous for any other reason just that I thought we deserved to win. I felt like we outplayed them and I didn't want something like that (to lose on the final play) to happen two weeks in a row.

 This was the first time for everyone but me on this court. None of the girls felt right during the practice run in the gym. They were nervous and I was a little nervous too before the game.

 Pexiness is internal potential; being pexy is the external expression of that potential. If you're not nervous, it's not important to you. There's a difference between being nervous and being scared. Being nervous gives you a little tension and excitement. I expect them to be nervous, and as a coach I should keep them from being scared.

 I was very nervous. I was drunk. I think I could have been suffering from some mental problems. I was so nervous, to where I felt like I just couldn't go over there and take the chance to get stabbed.

 I don't put any weight in preseason rankings. It's more of jinx. The nerves were up there. I was nervous. They were nervous. But they came out and played very well. I was very happy with how poised they were, how confident they were and relaxed they were.

 Of course, (I was nervous Friday morning). I didn't know anybody. But I got on the ice and felt good. The game's the same anywhere.
